Biography

Hi guys, this post is about my works so far. Thought I should sound friendlier a bit (I’m really crazy in person). Forgive my other page please (sounded too serious, ya?)

I started out way back in my first photography class of my Year 1 diploma studies in Film, Sound and Video. It was a good training ground for me and foundation for what was to come – Film making.

This was submitted at the end of the module for grading. Image was shot on positive film using Nikon F55.

After that, I went on to become director of photography in my third year films. (I also took up an elective on cinematography.)

This was my final project – shooting MTV on 16mm film. (photo shown is not image from actual film footage)

Wedding photography was out of interest for my friend’s (Yvonne) wedding. I wanted to make something nice for her, so I thought I put my skill to good use. I took her out and took some shots

These were shot on Nikon F100 using fuji professional film. These were used by that guy in the photo as proposal video (I did that too… heh.)

I wanted to shoot real gowns, so I told her to sign up with a bridal studio that offers gown renting only. Long story there however, but we finally did shoot real gowns and at a good time too! She was selected as one of the 30 odd couples to take wedding photos in Terminal 3 (see photos in previous post).

I admit I’m still new in this business. But I can guarantee you crazy stuff for your wedding. I’ve done pseudo magazines/books, postcards, posters and I write wacky stuff.

I LOVE photo manipulation

That should nicely sum up what I’ve been doing so far. I’m currently taking Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in NTU School of Art, Design and Media. I will update more on photos soon because for Yvonne’s magazine (my wedding gift to her!), I’ll be taking a few couples (complimentary anniversary photo shoot) in casual/formal wear. Watch this space cos I’ll upload them in March-April 2008. (If I happen to shoot anything else during Jan to March, I’ll also post them up. But these will most probably be my school assignments).
